Nehemiah 3 can easily be seen as a chapter to skip over as it lists a bunch of names of people who worked on the wall and names a bunch of gates that were repaired. We won’t skip this chapter because there is so much here for us. Listen in as we see how the gates speak about different stages or parts of our Christian walk and we look at some of the people God used to complete the walls.
Listen in as Trevor Avison finishes Revelation 11 and hear about the two witnesses that will be on the Earth during the last days and what God does with them.
In this study, we see the need to have vision. Without vision, we are aimless and without direction. We need to know God’s vision for our lives and what He is calling us to do. Nehemiah knew that and got onboard with God’s vision and calling on his life. Will you? (This study is more topical in nature than what we normally do on Sunday mornings, but is not the norm!)
We’ve seen Nehemiah as a man who cared. He cared about the things of God. We’ve seen him as a man who dared. He dared to do something about the problem. This week we see Nehemiah as the man who shared. He shared the things that God had put in his heart to do and inspired a group of people to be a part of it.
In Nehemiah 1, we see Nehemiah as the man who cared. In Nehemiah 2:1-10, we see Nehemiah as the man who dared. He dared to be a part of God’s plan. How about you? Are you willing to care enough about the things of God to dare to do something for God?
In Nehemiah 1, we see Nehemiah as a man who cared. He cared about the things that God cared about and his heart broke over the things that God’s heart broke over. Listen in to learn about the amazing character of Nehemiah!
