Listen in to part 2 of “Model Ministry”. In 1 Thessalonians 2:7-12, Paul continues to write about the manner in which He, Timothy, and Silas came and did ministry among the people of Thessalonica. For those of us desiring to be used by God, there are many great lessons for us to learn about how to properly do ministry.
Listen in to this message to hear how the gospel works in the heart and life of those who hear and receive it. When the gospel is received, it should change the person and re-direct their life. Is that happening in your life?
In this first study in our new series “Hope For The Future” from the Book of 1 Thessalonians, we see the background of this church and the letter that the Apostle Paul writes to it. We see Paul remember them for their Faith, Love and Hope.
In Nehemiah 13:1-4 “The Return Part 1”, we saw Nehemiah return to Jerusalem only to find compromise and backsliding. We saw how he dealt with the first several issues and in this study we see how he deals with the final two areas of compromise. He deals with sin head on and decisively, just as we must do. Towards the end of the study, we review what made Nehemiah a good, successful leader. They are all principles we can and need to incorporate into our lives as we serve the Lord.
In Nehemiah 13, we see Nehemiah has been away in Persia for some time and returns to Jerusalem only to find the Jews have broken all the vows they had made to the Lord in Chapter 10. Listen in to see how Nehemiah deals with this and sets things right among the people.
Listen in as we see the wall of Jerusalem being dedicated to God, the people are worshipping and singing to God, celebrating what He has done in their lives. We have just as much reason to celebrate and worship our Saviour for all He has done in our lives.
